the heart of the
western downs

From humble beginnings in 1841 as a crossing for Myall Creek

(a tributary of the Condamine River),

Dalby is a vibrant regional centre with cafes and natural wonders abound.

Stop by the nearby towns of Bell – nestled in the foothills of the Bunya Mountains, Kaimkillenbun – affectionately known as “The Bun”, Jimbour – with its magnificent country homestead, and Warra’s iconic Queenslander architecture.

The thriving regional hub of Dalby is the gateway to the Western Downs, with its manicured gardens and bustling main street.

Take your time to sample the area’s rich heritage and country hospitality, from the raw beauty of Lake Broadwater Conservation Park to local livestock shows and the town’s rich history at Dalby Pioneer Park Museum.
